Terms of use

RiteRest beta · Last updated October 2026

A service in beta

RiteRest is in early beta. Features may change, pause or be withdrawn, and some content is still being checked. By using RiteRest you accept these terms.

Guidance, not advice

RiteRest offers general, practical information to help you organise what comes next. It is not legal, medical, financial or tax advice, and it is not a funeral director, solicitor or counsellor. For decisions that matter, check with a qualified professional or the relevant official body.

Completeness and where it applies

We work to keep guidance accurate, but we can’t guarantee it is complete, current or right for your circumstances. Guidance is being developed for England & Wales first. Where other countries are involved we say so, and we don’t apply England & Wales rules to them.

Urgent matters

RiteRest is not an emergency service. If anyone is in immediate danger, call 999. For urgent medical help, call 999 or NHS 111. For official death registration or coroner matters, use GOV.UK and the relevant local office.

Service providers

Provider information in the beta is sample or demonstration data unless clearly stated otherwise, and may change. A listing is not an endorsement or recommendation unless we say so explicitly. Any arrangement you make with a provider is between you and them.

Acceptable use

Please don’t misuse RiteRest: no unlawful use, no attempts to disrupt or gain unauthorised access, no automated scraping, and no submitting other people’s personal information without good reason.

Intellectual property

The RiteRest name, logo, text and design belong to RiteRest [company details to be confirmed]. You may use the guidance for your own personal purposes.

Liability [for legal review]

To the extent the law allows, RiteRest is not liable for loss arising from reliance on general guidance or from provider services. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms as the beta develops; the date above shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales [to be confirmed].
